Welcome to the website of the Lowerye flock of British Charollais sheep

We specialise in breeding functional rams that thrive on a forage diet, producing quality prime lambs that will finish with minimal inputs.

Flock established in 1991 and performance recorded with Signet since 1992.

Signet performance recording:

We are currently ranked number one in the UK for terminal sire index, for gigot muscularity ebv and for lean weight ebv.

Our average lamb, born in 2021 is ranked in the top 10% for each of those traits.
