    This lamb is bred from power on power. He is sired by Mortimer Investment, who was top price shearling at Builth 2009 and Breed Champion at the Royal Cornwall 2010. Dam is the highest index ewe in the breed (BI: 494) and is by L.Great Guns, who still holds the record for the highest eye muscle recorded in a Charollais at 44.5mm and out of a Logie Durno Earl of Dunbar daughter that scanned with an eye muscle of 40mm. Lucky Lad is bred from the same female line that has bred L.Impressive and L.Kaiser, who is breeding well in the Eastbach flock.
